UNGC Match Play CompetitionsThe United Nations Golf Club (UNGC) is pleased to organise both Singles and Doubles Match Play competitions each season. The draw for the handicap competitions typically takes place early in the season, with matches running over the spring and summer months through to early autumn. Depending on the number of participants, players can expect several rounds on the way to the final stages. Singles Match Play ChampionshipThe Singles Match Play Championship offers all participants the opportunity to compete for one of the club’s most valued titles. Played in a handicap match play format, matches are decided hole by hole rather than total strokes, ensuring a fair and competitive contest for players of all levels. Chapman Doubles Match PlayThe doubles competition is played in the Chapman Greensomes format. After both partners tee off, players switch balls for the second shot, and from the third shot onwards continue with alternate shots using the selected ball. It is a format that combines teamwork, strategy, and enjoyment, and is always a highlight of the season. Both competitions are open to all UNGC members in line with the club’s participation framework and sporting spirit .
